Broker Fee Disclosure
It is hereby disclosed that the fee collected by Direct Pro Logistics LLC is a broker fee. This fee is charged for arranging transportation services with a fully licensed and insured motor carrier to move and/or handle your household goods and personal property.
Payment Structure
All carrier charges are paid directly by the customer to the independently owned carrier and are due C.O.D., unless alternative payment arrangements (credit or debit card) are made in advance. Carrier charges are collected in two installments:
- 50% due at pickup
- 50% due upon delivery at the destination address
Direct Pro Logistics LLC does not collect carrier payments and does not share in any portion of the carrier’s charges.
You acknowledge and understand that these are separate transactions between you and the motor carrier, which is a separate and independent business entity.
Cancellation Terms and Refund Policy
Because our brokerage services begin immediately upon booking, you agree that the broker fee is non-refundable, with no exceptions, after 48 hours from signing the Bill of Lading. In accordance with 49 CFR § 375.505(h), estimates or orders may not be canceled and deposits are not refundable outside the two-day rescission period, or once the mover has begun physical services, including but not limited to packing, loading, storage, or transportation to or from the pickup or delivery location.
Services may not be canceled once the customer’s property has been loaded onto the truck.
By signing this cancellation policy, you acknowledge, understand, and agree to all terms stated above.
